ANTEA was established in 1989 by Giuseppe Bidese, Domenico Salvà and Fernando Verzotto.

Giuseppe Bidese, (1945 - 2003), graduated in Electrotechnics at the ROSSI Institute in Vicenza (Italy) in 1965, started working in 1969 in Chemical Plant erection and maintenance. In 1973, he founded ITALSABI, a company that is still involved in NDT services in Italy and abroad. In 1994, he became a shareholder of DONEGANI ANTICORROSIONE after it was dismissed by ENICHEM. Bidese is active in NDT services and is a strong promoter of Inspection Global Services for Chemical and Petrolchemical Companies directly or in partnership with the main Maintenance Global Services Firms.

Domenico Salvà , (1947), graduated in Chemical Engineering at the University of Padua (Italy) in 1972. In 1973 he started working in Chemical Plant erection and maintenance and in Civil Building. Self-educated in Computer Sciences, he acquired a profound knowledge on several Development Languages and tools. As co-author, he published some papers on NDT and corrosion data collection and management. Since 1989 he is Responsible for the Software at ANTEA.

Fernando Verzotto, (1946), graduated in Chemical Engineering at the University of Padua (Italy) in 1971. He started working in 1971 in Chemical Plants erection. During 1973 and 1974 he worked in IMC in the USA. Self-educated in Computer Sciences, as co-author he has published some papers on NDT and corrosion data collection and management. Since 1989 he is the CEO of ANTEA.
